Have fun, baja! Hopefully, you will be able to get a tailgate together...the one that we had for the Packer game was the highlight of my season so far...the local PP.O'ers KNOW how to put together a GREAT party!!!

If you are staying downtown, I'd say anywhere on 1st ave by the target center or Bellanote. If you are young and single, try the Lodge. The Lakers play here Saturaday night.

I live a hundred miles north of the TC and we were negetive degrees today! My son hates that 'cause he can't go outside for recess on those days.

You don't know cold til you have been to Minneapolis ... went last year for the Hawks v. Vikes game in December and I have NEVER felt cold like that anywhere.

I'll be there on Saturday. Coming up from KCMO. By the way, where can I find Joe Senser's Bar? My alma mater is playng for the D-2 championship and I hope to catch the game on ESPN. Joe's had the game on this last Saturday.

All the more reason for the vikes to return to the great outdoors. A second coming of the met would be nice.

I go to the U of M and it sucks walking the long distances from class to class. Not to mention it can take a while to wait for the campus busses as well.

It was -7 this morning when I left home, it was -2 a few minutes ago. It should be above freezing this weekend for highs with lows around 20 degrees.

I was ice fishing on lake of the woods a few years back and the temp was about -30 below 0 and wind chills were about -60 to -70 degrees. Your freezer in your house is probably around 20 degrees above 0, so the windchill was probably 90 degrees colder than your freezer.

Lived in Ontario Cal for about a year back in the 80's.

Yeah, I used to pass right by you on the 101 when I used to drive into LA from Ventura...I also used to buy all my dress shoes from the Johnson & Murphy store in the Sherman Oaks Galleria. I finally got to make it back there this past summer...went to visit some of my wife's relatives out there...I took my wife on an impromptu junk food tour of LA...Pink's, In-N-Out Burger, Tommy's, Fatburger, El Pollo Loco, Carl's Jr., and a little hole-in-the-wall called Johnny's Mexican Foods in Ventura as well. I miss living in the VC...my weekly drives down to LA used to be a blast!!! I get to go back in January...hopefully it's not too cold then!
