View Full Version : Daunte Haters!

"Is it finally time to talk about how overrated Daunte Culpepper is? Since Culpepper's season-ending injury, the Vikings are finally playing with real quarterback and winning games. Any strong-armed quarterback can throw deep to Randy Moss five times per game and seem impressive. Without Moss, Culpepper's huge body frame is better suited in holding down the bench."

There are going to be plenty of these guys out there and there are plenty here on this site.
I disagree with them, though they have decent points in win and loss records in particular. His stats for the most part speak for themself ... Even this season he was not half as bad as people are making out ... he did have three AWFUL AWFUL Harrington like games that dragged him down, but he will be all right and will come back rested, relaxed and having learned a thing or two from the wiley veteran at the helm now.

Here's the page (http://www.nfl.com/features/squibkicks/)

and I completly think this guy has NO idea how many things D.C brings to the field.. This year ok he's had problems.. show me 1 Qb that didn't have faulty years.. let alone faulty games!!! Now sure D.C has got the arm for the 80 + yd toss's.. and he's got the size for running over D's that mis judge his strength.. and as everyone has watched.. his maturity has increased visibly every year!! now toss in this year with it's situations.. coaches.. and player changes.. besides the loss of players.. the gain of them.. see our defence picking up their heads and really showing their worth? didn't happen over nite.. nor in preseason.. but now we are gelling..

ok. lets not say D.C didn't have situations that needed changing, the guy does have a point that he just can't toss the ball up and have m catch it all day.. (but wait till Troy is ready!!!!!) and our WR crew is really coming together.. people are running correct routes, their attention to smaller details is showing in progress. I really do believe we need a better scheme for our offence if we want D.C to fully utilize his size + strengths.. our schema's now play well for B.J. and he's doing exactly what we asked him to do when we signed him.. Take over the team and be the solid leader he is.

so just for all you D.C cretics/haters that wanna say malakeias (bull$hite) about his need to be benched and how unAmazing he really is.. just wait.. your crow will be served nice and steamy hot!! until then.. B.J. You are the man in charge.. do as you have been, and lead us to the place you have been before and bring the prize to the Purple + Gold
