i hope ciatrick can do well. i just think he needs to be more decisive with hitting holes because he's a rookie he might have that problem, just go out there determined and know not to be shy of hitting the hole hard and he will do good.

Man, lot of injuries/suspensions this year to the featured players. No starting QB, no starting RB, no starting WR for most of the year, no starting C, no brains for the HC...but there is still hope.

Vikings | Fason to keep short-yardage role - if Williams done
Wed, 16 Nov 2005 05:20:30 -0800

The Star Tribune reports Minnesota Vikings rookie RB Ciatrick Fason is expected to keep the team's short-yardage running back role if RB Moe Williams (knee) is lost for the season, as expected.

I think we may have seen the last of moe.

He is getting hurt to often, and takes too long to recover. I wouldnt be surprised if he retires after this year. also, his role will be diminished if he comes back anyway.

im comfortable with fason as short yardage back. we can use bennett in between the 40s for a change at a big run and to give memo a break. for the rest of the time, have moore in there to get the job done.

The thing that sucks is , if this injury is really serious, take a look at moe's age. We might never really get to see 3rd down moe again. I love Moe and hope we can get him back.

Also I liked the read on Rasmus in that article. Rasmus has really looked sharp these past couple games. I'm really excited to keep watchin this guy play.

Didn't Moe say that this was his last season with the team? Man.. i love that guy. He is a real football player if I have ever seen one. He has a lot of heart.

I love Moe...My memories of him are a kickoff return for a TD on Sunday night football back in the 90's, and the two TD's at Lambeau last year, the one in the regular season to tie the game where he bulled over the DB, and then the one in the playoffs where PA says, "Daunte can run if he wants to and he will no he passes caught at the 45 and its caught by Moe to the 40 hes streaking TO THE ENDZONE TOUCHDOWN!!"

I love Moe and hope he comes back.

I'm afraid this may mean the end of the career of a very hard working and good player.

I haven't been too impressed with Fason on short yardage yet. Maybe, with time, he'll improve. But the few times he's been used in that situation, he hasn't produced. He's not the same type of runner that Moe is. Actually, I would put MeMo closer to Moe's "Fall-forward", leg-churning running style.

In 132 career games, Williams has rushed for 1,826 yards and 21 touchdowns while adding 12 receptions for 154 yards and four scores.

His HEART, however, is immeasurable...he is the real HEART and SOUL of this team...the rest of the team needs to step up and "WIN ONE FOR THE MOE"!!!
