I just heard that the vikes are 3-24 when they are playing on the road. Anyone else hear this? Is it true? If it is, we are screwed this weekend.

Way to be positive Michael. I will say thank you though for changing the subject on the boards, it's nice to hear something a little different even though I don't quite agree with it

yah we hardly ever win on the road. i think the only team worse than us were the Lions but they are winning more now on the road i believe.

The bad news: the Vikings suck on the road, this season is no different.

The good news: every other NFC North team is 0-2 on the road this year also.

How can anyone take anything positive out of 3-24? Than again, it could have been 0-27 which is a lot worse.

I know Michael, if you read my reply on the amends thread maybe you'll understand. But I edited my post so see what I wrote. But I will admit 3-24 does suck.

Man, I didn't realize that we were THAT bad on the road.

Didn't we beat Chicago, at Chicago though for one of those wins. That's something positive.

That is a correct fact. 3-24 on the road since 2001 which includes all playoff games also up until and including the last game against Atlanta.

I do not care what our road record is; we have to take this 1 game at a time. Lets win this and then look to the next week.

Yeah, let's win our next 6 road games, then we'll be 9-24!

I am afraid to read this thread, I am just going to post.

I was afraid to open this one. Our road record has been attrocious, but don't dwell in the past, think about the future and if we lose this weekend, start thinking about the future next year.

I will never not read another thread before posting, sorry.

Once again, I apologize and I am not setting foot inthis thread again. May our road record burn in H E double hockey sticks. SKOL

last year's playoff win against the pack almost makes it ok to be 3-24

That is a correct fact. 3-24 on the road since 2001 which includes all playoff games also up until and including the last game against Atlanta.

Actually it is not a fact. C'mon people, it takes less than three minutes to find this information.
Since 2001 (Green's last season) the Vikes are 9-27 on the road (starting with a 14 game losing streak!) counting the playoffs and this season.
This 3-24 record is our record OUTDOORS under Tice.
There you have it. We are 6-3 in road games in domes, pretty evident how much we love domes. Here is the breakdown
2001- 0-8
2002- 2-6 (N.O. and Det.)
2003- 3-5 (G.B., Det. Atl.)
2004- 4-6 (Hou., N.O., Det., G.B.)
9-20 Under Tice by the way

I am still right though. We beat Chicago at Chicago and it was Outdoors. <again, patting self on back>

Actually,, have not beaten Chicago in Chicago since 2000 when we won 28-16.

The Bears were 2-6 at home last year. Sorry, too lazy to look up the past 3 years.

Should be a great matchup. May the least penalized, turnover team win. :sigh1:
