I love Pepp and am in no way bashing him with this, but these clips are what I do not understand about the guy. Rather then b*tch about everything take a look at it.

 oh man is that a tell tale sign that duante has no clue as to waht is going on! this is so bad

I could only see the second video, but yes what is Daunte's problem this year?

He is doing what he always does, looks for his 1st read if its not open he stays in the pocket waiting for the big play down field then tries to scramble. I have always been back and forth on Culpepper and want to see him succeed but if he really lacks this kind of vision we are in trouble. On the other hand we don’t know what happened on the previous play maybe it was a 1st play after one of the turnovers. Over the last few years he gets extra cautious after a turnover. Not that it has mattered this season.

he will turn it around.

i REALLY feel we'll pick up the slack this weekend..

I think so too, there is no way we are this bad. I'm looking for a 3 TD day for Culpepper.

Thats friggin insane....So much time, So many open leads...wtf is goin on.

That's only one play, but the implications are pretty dern scary. Let's hope he pulls his head out of his A$$. When they asked Tice about Daunte being confused by the different coverages he's seeing now that Moss is gone, Tice said the Bengals only ran 3 coverages the whole game, doesn't sound that complicated to me.

Just damn

I truly hope we can come out of this crap by the next game. I like culpepper and want to see him do well. I just don't understand our situation! We didnt look like this in the preseason...

09-21-2005, 02:19 AM
man i dont know what daunte was looking at there. i think he was wondering if his kids went to the game and were looking for them.

09-21-2005, 03:19 AM
He has gone through spells like this before, not seeing everything well. He'll be fine.

09-21-2005, 03:54 AM
omg, that is bad. Lets hope he can get it together. I know he will. He is do good of a player not to be able to.

09-21-2005, 06:43 AM
the whole team is playing bad, Culpepper could have won MVP last year, don't become a traitor to him...

09-21-2005, 06:54 AM
I was just about to post this video myself...it says it all. The thing that puzzles me is...how did he do what he did last year without Moss? I don't know what the problem is, whether it be coaching or a mental thing, but Daunte needs to sharpen up upstairs if he wants to get himself back to Pro Bowl material before he is too old.

09-23-2005, 02:48 AM
He's Dazed and Confused. Does anybody else think he should have spent more time practicing and in the film room (ala Payton Manning) and less time in the studio making commercials?

09-23-2005, 03:03 AM
Wow.............he needs a damn slap to the old nogin!
Throw the frigi'n ball daunte, it shoulden't be that hard.

09-23-2005, 01:15 PM
Maybe all the receivers should wear #84 so Culpepper can see them!
