Does Loney have too much on his plate? Week one looked awful. Here is an article on Loney running O and O line.

I have said all along that our offensive line is our teams biggest weakness. The line will become better the longer it plays together but I see us becoming a one dimensional team. I see us becoming a pass happy team due to the line and our injury prone running backs. I think we will win the North and maybe one playoff game. I think Tice keeps his job next year and the team finally comes together by us getting Birk back and picking up a good offensive lineman and running back. Just my opinion!

I think somewhere along the lines of the media, it has become a common fallacy that run blocking is way harder then pass blocking.

Run blocking is better for young lineman IMO, they know who they are going to be attacking rather then being attacked.

Plus when you pass all game long it becomes even harder on the lineman, because once it becomes apparent you aren't going to be running the ball anytime soon the floodgates open and blitzes start coming from every angle making it hard to block.

I think Tice will go back to basics, Daunte will control the ball more and we will win the North. I don't know about the playoffs because it will depend on how we are playing as a team when they roll around.

I agree with your opinion for the most part. If we only win one playoff game, I don't know if Tice will be back. I see us going to the NFC champ.

Looks like hiring an OC is the most popular. I voted for O line coach, and give Loney a shot this year at the OC.
