Dude was NFL Europe MVP last year...and he just lost in a numbers game in New England. I think that he would be an upgrade over Hill...and probably one of the best #3 QBs in the NFL.

Plus he is already accustomed to wearing purple and gold...he went to LSU!

I think that would be a good idea. I dont think Hill is that good of a #3 QB. Look at the bears #4 QB, hutchinson, I think he is better then Hill.

I am a huge fan of rohan and not a fan at all of shaun hill, who seems like he never will actually develope, so I would definitely do it, but highly doubt we will.

I was shocked to see NE cut him.

Hill sucks, but so far we havn't seen anything from Davey.

Hill played well in NFL Europe too. Hill knows the offense.

I dunno, maybe the Bears will sign him to be their starter.

I like Davey a lot. I say if given the shot we should take the chance and make the potential "upgrade".

This would be one of those low-risk high-reward type moves because I don't don't think anyone wants to see Hill ever start a game for the Vikes. Rohan would be a good number three and could maybe step in as the backup when Johnson retires. If he doesn't improve to step into that role, we wouldn't have lost anything by giving up Hill to get him and we'll just shop for another veteran backup.

It would be cool and I'd support it, but it probably won't happen.

If we get down to our 3rd QB mattering, then I may have so many beers I won't feel the pain of a backup's backup, so put Homer Simpson in there for all I care. I think Hill is okay.

Thats a VERY bad idea. Shaun Hill knows the playbook so well, he tells all of the plays to Culpepper. Davey doesn't have any experience with our playbook, and Hill really does. I don't think that would be a good idea at all.

its too late to replace hill, rohan would have to learn the entire playbook in time for the season and be able to make all the calls into daunte

The Bears might want to sign him as Kyle Orton's back up. The young man from Iowa, went to Purdue and could be a diamond in the rough.

As far as us signing Davey, ??????????????

It seems like a gamble replacing role guys with role guys. With that said, I will say that Hill hasn't been that impressive but what do you expect from a 3 guy. You hope he never has to go in the game. If you are down to no.3, then you are in trouble.

now if you think that Davey has a chance to challenge BJ for no.2 then you have a case worth an arguement.

It would be better for us next year, too late now. We need scrub d!ck Hill to call plays.
