fullback or TE...he will dish out some licks --opening gaps for our runners and then turn around and catch a couple balls... he will not be a concern.

TE, no doubt, C Pepp is finally learning to use his dump offs, backs, te's and such. He should have a good year.

Jimmy was listed as FB last year, so the Wiggins deal changes nothing for Klinsasser except solidify him as our FB for 2005

KEEP KLENSASSAR, are you stupid?! Jim is so much better than Wiggins, if we gave up Wiggins or Klensassar i'd so give up Wiggins. Plus last year he gave Jim an extension on his contract for like 5 years thank god, he's a great blocker, great hands, good power everything Wiggins have plus more.

The only reason Jimmy keep getting put on Madden as a FB is because that game requires you to have 1 FB on the roster. Jimmy makes something like 3 million a year and will help the running game alot, as well as catch some passes.

Who was suggesting that we give up one of them?

It sounded like someone was saying we should get rid of Jim because we got Wiggins, just how they put it.

That's ok, might want to back off on the "are you stupid?" comments.
People are just giving their opinions.

They are 2 very different tight ends.. Jimmy can block, Wiggins can catch.

I would expect double tight end sets with some full back play too.

It should be awesome. I hope we send Wiggins down the seem more often this year.

i like fylin sassar , reminds me of mcdaniel on the goal line (gonna put a hat on some one). also catches the ball

Jimmy will do what he always does: cream a bunch of fools in the run game, and catch about 400 yards worth of passes for about 3 TDs.

His run blocking alone makes him great in my mind, he's easily the best run blocking TE in the league, his catches and TDs are just extra points, good extra points.

We've used a 2 TE set for years now... Chamberlain and Kleinsasser, Wiggins and Kleinsasser, Berton and Wiggins after Kleinsasser went down last year. Jimmy will go back to making defensive backs cry and dive at his legs, and Wiggins will go on catching the ball. All is well in the world.
