Ya Know....We go through a whole year getting ripped on for random stuff, and now, ew have about the best offseason possible and those troll packer fans are nowhere to be seen. I mean we just signed their best defensive player! Where are they now? They arent even here to debate the return of Favre, they are scared sh*tless! Good Job Vikings! Good job Red (I hate saying that)! Good job all you free agents that signed! At least for me this has been a dream offseason. The only thing more I could ask for is Burress. SKOL VIKES! :salute:

After the offseason we have had compared to theirs and the fact that we knocked them out of the playoffs and almost retired favre, I didn't expect to hear much from them this offseason, except for Los.

I was thinking the same thing. Packers fans have all but disappeared. They have barely won the division from us the past 2 years, they know that it won't happen again.

Vikings have already signed CB Fred Smoot, DT Pat Williams, S Darren Sharper, gotten LB Napoleon Harris from Oakland and have the 7th and 18th first round picks.

Packers have ....... ? Oh yeah, they lost 2 starting lineman, lost their starting safety to us, and have the #24th overall pick in the draft.

Not much ammunition for Packers fans to throw at us. Yes, it feels good to be a Vikings fan right now! 8)

There usually are a lot more packer trolls, I think they have all conveniently forgot about this site though...

You do not actually own that shirt...do you Los? Honestly, Walker is nothing to brag about...

The past two years the Packers have barely won the division while the Vikings came in a close second. In 2002, the Packers won the division by 6 games. Typo on my part I guess, nothing gets by you Los!

You guys signed out best defensive player? You serious? Did you miss the playoff game last year? Sharper got friggin torched relentlessly by you guys. Good riddins as far as me and many other Pack fans are concerned. The guy couldnt tackle his way out of a paper bag. You guys will see that soon enough. We'll see how your offense runs without 84 in there. Burleson was good when Moss drew double coverage, lets see how good he is when he draws the double.
As far as the off season, yeah you guys have signed some guys and made efforts to shore up your defense. You guys also had the cap room to do so, we dont. We'll have to rely on the draft more. People are definitely not pushing the panic button in Pack land yet. We have a great GM now, a great D Coord., which is a start. Oh and not too mention the greatest QB of all time is coming back.
Oh and not too mention with the Vikings uncanny ability to choke no matter how much talent they have, we arent worried. Actually its the Lions we should all be worried about. If Harrington ever gets his head out of his ass we'll all be in trouble.

Dude, who DIDN'T we torch in that game? Let me put it a better way. Any time your D showed any glimmer of light it was him making the play.

calling Sharper the best defensive player on our team isn't much of an accomplishment. the D sucked, Sharper isn't as good as he used to be. He was a good Safety, but not anymore. He's slower than he used to be, oh,and yeah, he can't tackle at all. He was a key role in our horrendous secondary last year. The only reason you guys are saying he is still "good" is because he is on your team now, but if he was still on the Packers you'd agree that he sucks now. LOL

Fred Smoot is good though, I'll give you that. Sharper will get about 4-5 INT's, but miss so many tackles.

Vikes have had the better offseason than the Pack, no doubt. They are favorites to win the division. Packers look to be rebuilding, which is a good thing, their D needed to be dismantled.

Yes, we'll see how are Offense runs. But, now you guys have to actually play a good Defense, ours.

Sorry, but there are quite a few QB's who are better than Brett Favre will ever be. Ever heard of Joe Montana and his 4 Superbowls?

I'm not saying that Favre is not a good QB, but to say he is the best ever, now that is just ignorant.

Not as ignorant as Viking fans thinking that the addition of Sharper is a positive addition for your defense.

Have fun griping about that sieve when he whiffs on tackles all season long. Good riddance Sharper, don't let the lambeau door hit you in the a$$ on the way out.

Umm I hate to break this to ya pal but he isn't. I'd say getting Sharper and prob losing Chavous is a wash. Sharper is coming off his worst season as a pro and you guys are wetting your pants thinking he's the next Ronnie Lott or something.
I dont care how much talent you guys pick up in the offseason, in my book it still doesnt make you the favorite to win the division. You guys have a knack for blowing it somehow, someway, and until you show can put it together (coaching, chemistry and all) I'd say the Packers are still the team to beat in the North.

sharper was the best thing on your defense, i didn't see al harris or carrol or anyone else do s%*t during the playoff game... only person i actually seen playing was javon walker, favre??? he drinkin before the game or practiceing to be a viking... did ahman even break 50 yards rushing that game? face it, until carrol gets more experence packers have nothing on D beside KGB, you just hate Sharper because he is a viking... say he was still a packer you wouldnt be dissing him if he was still a packer.

Remembering how GB's secondary sucked last year got me feeling pessimistic about Sharper.. we had our own problems defending the pass.. I'd hate to see things get any uglier.

Wouldnt be dissing him huh? Maybe you should stop by the Packers forum and see how much we really DID trash him while he was WITH us. He's overrated and you'll soon find out why. We have 7 mill in cap room, if Sharper was the real deal dont you think we'd have kept him? God knows we need help in the secondary and did we resign him? Nope, we can do better.

GBFan

Packers have Nick Barnett, who is a pretty good linebacker. Our secondary sucked, so we got rid of all of them. Sharper's big days are over, he will be decent for you guys, probably a little bit better than what you used to have, but he isn't a great Safety anymore. Fred Smoot was a solid signing, and so was Pat Williams. I'm glad I don't have to get a headache anymore yelling at Sharper or anybody else in the Packers secondary to make a freakin tackle. You'll get used to it soon

I think sharper is better than Russell by a lot but it doesn't matter. If sharper starts to underachieve like you are all saying then we can put in Russell and pick off Favre like he always does.

sorry but the pack is on the same road the 49ers took , all the good player(s) are past their prime ,and the salary cap will be just enough to field a team. so all the number 1 picks you'll be getting will be hurting your cap . atleast top 10 picks . 3 in the next 4 years i'm guessing

Well look at sharper this way....he did not have anybody around him...who did he have Al harris...LMAO that guys hair got in his way to much...batman I like to hold caroll...mark the bust roman. All I am tring to say is that Sharper will be much better he has a lot of good players around him, but that is why they play the games.

Sharper makes big plays, but you never know when he will make a HUGE play or blow a HUGE play. lol . I personaly am mad that we didnt try to negotiate with him a little harder seeing as how we are now stuck with carrol and thomas. Who just sit around and tickle each other.

But look at it this way. We now hold down the NFL's WORST defense on our own. NO SHARING WITH ANYBODY!

As long as wqe have Favre we'll always be in the big games, but as long as we don't have a defense, we'll never win em. GO PACK!
