Now that the vikings traded Moss will Media like the vikings? Or will they even talk about the vikings as much as they did when Moss was around?

Yup. they'll be talking about the Vikes but as a whole and not as a life support system for Randy. The only time Moss was part of a "team" was when he was a rookie and played with Smith and Carter. The games they played without Moss last year were lost by field goals the offense was still pretty damn good. We've lost bad publicity and gained a lot of good(except for the Tice thing of course).

Maybe Tice can give the media a discount on SB tickets!

I just hope the Vikings will be on T.V. just as much. I got to see them every week last year. I hope losing Moss won't change that, even though I think it will. Now Oakland will probably get all the airtime. I'm willing to live with that, cause I know I'll get to see the Vikes a lot in January.

If they are winning games and putting on good performances then you'll see games on TV. Moss was a factor before but not the whole issue, hopefully when the schedules come out next month then we'll see a couple on MNF games, with at least one at home, plus one ESPN Sunday night game. After that choices will be down to whether they are playing well or not.

I think theyll give a littel more respect now that moss is gone and cant trash them on behalf of the franchise. That his job in oakland now.

I think we get a lot more respect by getting rid of mike tice cuz of his recent scuffle and possibly onterrio smith since hes a weed smoker, even though there is plenty of them in the league.

In recent years, since the '98 collapse against the Falcons in the NFC Championship game, the Vikes have been on the back burner in the media. They will continue to be on the back burner until they make it late into the playoffs. Sure, there will be a few blurbs now and again. The Patriots had to form a modern day dynasty and still aren't media darlings.

Personally, I hope they have no faith in the Vikings and talk them down. The Vikings have historically performed better as the underdogs.

the quick answer is: the same.

the vikes have a bumb wrap. now campbell and tice are in trouble. the media will always complain about the vikes.

everytime Moss gets mentioned this year, they will say "former Viking badass"...

Sunday Ticket is about 200 bucks for the full season. If you don't want to pay that, I believe there's several bars in Houston that show Vikings games, if you're of age. If not, there's always Damon's.

actually if you get it as an introductory price like i did last year, you pay much less. i watched every viking game for the first time in my life. it was great! and then you can check out what all the other teams are doing which is great if you like to bet on games.

Man, I'm glad I live in Minnesota, so I don't have to worry about it!
