Hey all! Love the site, a friend put me on to it a few weeks ago and now I'm here everyday. A few things about myself:

I've been a Vikings fan ever since I can remember. I grew up in Southern Minnesota (New Ulm area) Joined the Navy at age 20 and now have been living in Silverdale, WA for the past 6 years. I had short stints in different places for various schools, but those aren't important. I like to think that I'm a very avid sportsman. I enjoy the outdoors, and that is a good thing up here. I've played for the All-Navy Flag Football team here and will be playing for the Westsound Saints (semi-pro football team here) this summer. I'm married with a 4 year old who is just as big a Vikings fan as I am (he's learned well) I'm still working on the wife, however (damn Seachickens)

Well, I will see you all in on the boards! Later.

Yep, I've had Schwan's, and I still get Schwan's out here in WA. Nice little taste of home. Oh, and Schell's is the beer that's brewn in New Ulm.

Hey everyone. I also live in the northwest around the Gig Harbor,WA area which is between Tacoma and Bremerton. I've been a huge Vikings fan since 98.That is when my friends made me choose a team.My best friend is a Raider fan, another is a 49er fan, another a Seahawk fan. I also have a couple of friends that like the Greenbay packers. It is so much fun when I send them anti-packer stuff from Purplepride's website. The reason I chose Minn to follow was because at the time they had gone to the playoffs like 8 out of 10 years or something under Dennis Green. It was just icing on the cake that the Vikings went 15-1 that year in the regular season and with it also being Randy Moss's rookie year. That really should have been the Superbowl year.I'm a huge Moss fan and as much as I am sorry to see him going to Oakland,I also know that it is not the end of the world for the Vikings team. I love what they are doing in Free Agency so far and hopefully they will keep it up. I've known about Purplepride.org for awhile now and finally decided to join.Look forward to chatting with other fellow Viking fans. Have a great day and I'll chat with you soon.

For all of you Vikes fans out here in Washington, there is a bar called The Cloverleaf (yes, just like the one on the Wisconsin border). It's half Viking fans and half Packer fans. If you want to catch a game at that bar, it's located in Bremerton, WA on Hwy 303. Check it out. There are a lot of Viking fans up here.
