With the 2014 season behind them, itís time for the Minnesota Vikings to change their perspective and begin looking ahead to the 2015 season. Sure, weíll give them a little time off to recover, relax and refresh, but before you know it theyíll be back at the office preparing for an important offseason in which you can expect to see a handful of familiar names. Letís take a quick look at a list of players who may be wearing a different jersey next season. I present to you, the dearly departed...from the Vikings.

"Itís with mixed feelings that we say goodbye to guys like Christian Ponder. A failed experiment at quarterback, there is a part of you that loathes him and the wasted draft pick that was used to acquire him. But on the other hand, you see a likeable guy who was a big part of the community during his tenure with the team"

Mixed feelings? Ha! No mixed feelings for me. See you later Ponder, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. It was terrible, all season long, knowing he was one Teddy injury away from being back on the field. Every time Teddy seemed to be banged up on a play, or get up slowly after being hit, I had to hold my breath in angst.

Look what happened in the one game Ponder did play in when Bridge hurt his ankle.

I'd like to see them retain:

Asiata
Wooton
Berger
Harris

Loefler I'm up in the air on.

Only Vet I'm adamant about sending down the road is Ole EXPUKER boy Jennings. What a joke.

On a side note, I can't believe the hate for Ponder. Kid has done nothing to deserve how the fans treat him.

So he didn't work out. Isn't the first, and probably won't be the last, QB to be taken in the first round that failed.

He came to work, worked hard and kept his mouth shut for the most part. He never beat his wife, got arrested, or got into fights with his teammates or coaches.

Truth is, if we had a O-coord that ran a Dink Dunk offense, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on our roster. Unfortunately for those of us who still think the kid has a future, we don't. We need a kid that can run the Air Coryell offense, not the Walsh Variant so he will be gone.

I for one believe he will land someplace and might even give a few of us the ammo to come on here and rub a bit of crow pie in a few faces.
