This is just sad.

We've had a lot of cast offs that's for sure. But Schocker and I would both befuddled by that total...this includes Chilly's "accountability" era....with Tice's era I would have no surprise.

Hoping Zim keeps the boys in line.

I can read several things into this. The article specifically refers to "arrests" versus incidents or accusations. This could just mean that the Vikings organization has not been as good at getting charges dropped or reduced. It also makes no comparison as to whether any of the charges were actually proven. There is a lot of missing information, and only one actual statistic. And of course, we all know what statistics are good for. They say nothing about how serious any given charge was, or whether the players were actually convicted of any offense.

I'd really like to see a year by year breakdown, with a listing of what the charges were, and an accounting of what happened to each of those players after the determination of guilt. Also, were these first offenses, or did the players have previous records? To me, it seems more important to know how the team responded to each situation.

Even so, it does seem rather sad to see this.

Welp... you can add Peterson to that list.

Weren't there about 30 arrests for the Love Boat? That fat McKinnie alone probably accounted for at least 25%. This doesn't bother me today.
