I have to be honest in that I really haven't tracked him for a while but isn't kinda past his prime?

Yes, but he's also played decently well still. Not elite, but he's still very athletic and an alright man corner.

Not sure what is price tag would be, and the Vikings are likely going younger on defense.

He's 29, so not that old. He's coming off a really bad year with the Jets which should effect what kind of contract he will get.

Considering what the Vikings were fielding last year, Cro is ancient.

True but, Considering what the Vikings were fielding last year he would be one of our best CB's.

We could use him in nickel and dime packages, and if he performs well, play him more often.

I believe he will want starters pay and be more than just be a nickel or dime back.

He will definitely try.

Link to a Jets blog that goes through salary expectation:

Cromartie wants to retire a Jet; what would a contract look like for him to do so? | The Jets Blog (http://thejetsblog.com/nyjets/cromartie-wants-to-retire-a-jet-what-would-a-contract-look-like-for-him-to-do-so/)

He ranked in the bottom 10% of corners last year by PFF. He claims his poor play was largely due to an injury that he played through.

True that. I should have added "if the price is right" to my last post.

no problem, but Im sure he will want the money for what he "was" worth, not the current value.

Normally yes, last year, no. I hear ya though, the Vikings DB's with the exception of Smith and Rhodes are nothing to write home about.

lol, yea that would be him. 8 different women no less. He could be an inspiration to AD. I believe he had a vasectomy, so he is capable of learning, after a while.

Football players don't equate to role models.
