I agree. Production ability on a par with Cedric Griffin. Time to call it what it is and let him go.

I would put him more up there with the likes of Dishman and Smoot, and even both of them managed to find an INT or 2 in their short time here. Ced had 2 interception through his first 23 starts, and finished with 8. Cook has 0 through 24 career starts. I don't get how you can go that long at corner without at least 1 pass accidentally falling into your hands. Our cover 0 scheme deserves some of the blame, but at some point you just gotta call a bust a bust.

Even if he could stay healthy he only appears in highlight reels trailing people into the end zone.
He's slow, can't cover, and doesn't tackle all that well. He's better than Robinson, but so is everyone else in the NFL.

Gotta agree with this article. Cook = bust.

How much of that is Williams, and how much is Cook is for others to debate, but Cook hasn't done very much for us, even when he IS on the field.

Cut him now! He's taking up space at this point. I remember they handled him with kid gloves when he got in trouble, turns out they should of cut him. Somebody else got in trouble and they cut him immediately if my memory serves me correctly. ..double standard for perceived talent.

It might be early to say he's a bust if he ends up with the Redskins next year then yeah that's were the secondary busts go Fred Smoot, Cedric Griffin, Marcus McCauley...unless he just ends up out of the league like Asher Allen

Asher Allen retired (Thank god, we weren't going to cut him) That dude was bad.

Speaking of bad, anybody remember Ronyel Whitaker?

Chris Cook?

Hey, interceptions are not the only stat.

Cook has two passes defended in six games this season! Sure, he has never forced a fumble in the NFL, but he has a stuff. What more could Vikings fans ask for?

Obviously, the Vikings front office and the defensive coordinator have faith in this player's abilities, or they would have brought in other players in the off-season.

We may have reached a bit on Cook, but I think he does a pretty good job when healthy.

Our entire defense is awful though, it's not just Cook. Leslie Frazier isn't intelligent enough to put together an effective defensive scheme. Hopefully he'll be gone soon and we can get an actual coaching staff... that's all I want for Christmas.

Cook is a bust.. I think Rhodes may have more passes deflected this year in his rookie season than Cook has had in his career.

Time to ship him to Seattle.

For God's sake at least turn around and see where the ball is!!!! That $hit has been going on all year!!

Two of the reasons we won:

1. Ponder got hurt

2. Cook got tossed

PS:

Once again we make a third rate QB look like a pro bowler.

I think Alshon Jefferies did that. Without him, the Bears not only lose, but lose horribly.

I was so mad when we took Cook. We should've taken the guy I wanted, Jimmy Clausen!

Yeah Cook has been hella dissappointing this year. He had some really big games against Calvin and other big recievers here and there.

If there's any good news, it's that his FA stock is probably at an all time low. I definitely wouldn't mind keeping him around if we have him a contract similar to what Sanford signed. He's been awful this year but I think he'd have a pretty good chance of rebounding too. We're going to have to get another corner through draft/FA anyway so why get rid of even a low end starter if the price is right?
