That kinda drives home how pathetic the rest of the team is in supporting one of the greatest athletes I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

AD is a wasted commodity. Now he knows what Barry Sanders felt like.

Another dubious achievement for the Vikings. How many career games have we given up? That's another one that seems to come up too often.

Totally agree.

I hope he doesnt' get frustrated and retire like Barry did.... He would so sad.. but I wouldn't blame him... esp. IF the three stooges are still there... Ponder, Frazier, Spielman....

As a fan of football. I would love to see him play with a QB like Brees, Peyton. See what miracles the guy can perform when fairly.

And just to drive the point home even further, since 1960 (including playoffs), teams with a 200 yard rusher were 122-7 (94.5 win percent). Just to put that into perspective, over the same time period, kickers made 96.5 percent of their PAT's. In other words, having a 200 yard rusher should be pretty damn automatic.

200 yard rushers that have lost since 1960.

1970 - 218 John Fuqua - (Pittsburgh lost at Philadelphia 30-20)
1976 - 273 O.J. Simpson - (Buffalo lost at Detroit 27-14)
1976 - 203 O.J. Simpson - (Buffalo lost at Miami 45-27)
1986 - 203 Reuben Mayes - (New Orleans lost to Miami 31-27)
1989 - 221 Gerald Riggs - (Washington lost to Philadelphia 42-37)
2002 - 228 Ricky Williams - (Miami lost at Buffalo 38-21)
2009 - 210 Thomas Jones - (Jets lost to Buffalo 16-13)
2012 - 210 Adrian Peterson - (Minnesota lost at Green Bay 24-13)

Hey at least we're not the 1976 Bills who lost 2 straight weeks with the Juice going over 200 haha. Oh wait, there's a good chance we could pull it off next week.

thanks! Skol vikes!Haha I love the dubious facts, I think it's the only thing the Vikings excel at. But upon further review, 5 teams have now lost a conference championship by a FG in OT, but we're the only team to do it twice.

1986 Browns lost to the Broncos 23-20
1998 Vikings lost to the Falcons 30-27
2007 Packers lost to the Giants 23-20
2009 Vikings lost to the Saints 31-28
2011 49ers lost to the Giants 20-17
