why even bother with this clown....??

I think we may get a corner in the 2nd and our WR in the 3rd and 4th rounds... I think Janoris Jenkins could be there for us in the 2nd

Do I smell another 1 yr agreement? Looks like Zygi is planning for just one more year and then leave it to the new regime next year.

We probably won't even get the guy in practice until he finishes up with the Olympics in mid-August.

Yep. Ponder should be really successful with this latest addition.

I was just thinking we didn't have enough mediocre wide receivers to fill out the 3-5 slots.

I hope they check his luggage for a wizzinator. I would hate to see us get stuck with that again.

The word is there have been several revisions of the original Wizzinator. The latest generation uses state of the art stainless steel staples to permanently fasten it to ones 'nator'

Who else on this WR Corps had as good as numbers as he did last year?

Jerome Simpson, WR, Free Agent (http://www.kffl.com/player/18771/NFL/jerome-simpson)

Not sure about you guys, but 50 catchs/725 yards/14.5 yards per catch/4 TD's is something I would atleast take a look at in camp.

I think the Bears may need him more to fill the stop vacated by Sam Hurd WR/dealer

Free agent WR Jerome Simpson will stay in Minnesota after visiting Saturday with the Vikings.

It's a pretty sad & lowly time in Vikings land when fans start salivating at the chance to sign a WR that had 50 catches & 725 yards.

There were only 68 WR's who had more catches than him & only 51 that had more receiving yards.

Rick Spielman and his staff have done their due diligence in researching Simpsonís background and character in recent weeks, they have heard glowing reviews from those around the receiver.

Newsflash Rick! They're not glowing. They're high from the pot that Simpson sold them.

Hilarious. Another one-year deal. Another questionable talent and questionable individual.

What a group Spielman has put together. Can't wait to see what he does on draft day.

He's essentially a younger Benard Berrian with bigger conduct issues... like it or not.

He's consistent, I'll give him that.

Maybe Zygi isn't letting these chuckleheads grab anyone for longer than a year, part of the 1 year probation that the entire staff is on. Then there's that stadium thing.

With the draft folks they will be stuck into signing longer term deals. BPA more than usual.

Other than the pot, why is he questionable? It's pot, nothing physical or violent or perverted. Get off your high horse.

It isn't just pot. It is a helluva lot of pot - as in dealer level.

In September 2011, police searched Simpson's home after intercepting a package to be delivered to his home containing 2.5 pounds of marijuana. When police arrived at Simpson's home, he allowed them to search his home. Upon searching the home, the police found 6 more pounds of marijuana, scales, empty packages similar to the one intercepted by the police.

I hope he pulls his head out of his ass. Because I still loved this play: :D

Bengals probably were no longer interested in a high rewards player, so they let him walk.

I can't wait to see them light up a defense.

Happy enough with this, an upgrade at a position we need, added to depth too.
