Vikings: A new defensive gut

If the nose tackle and middle linebacker represent the gut of a defense, then it's safe to say the Minnesota Vikings have signed themselves up for plastic surgery this season.

That to me is a bigger concern than LT but there is no franchise MLB or NT in the draft.

Dontari Poe - Memphis, we could grab him in the third round. True warpig. 6-3 345, 4.8 forty, 45 reps benchpress. Could be a steal in the third round. But unfortunately after his combine, he may go late first round early second?

There is absolutely no chance he makes it out of the first round.

I'd bet a sizable sum of cash that he won't make it out of the top 15.

He's not worthy of the #3 pick, and unless we trade back to somewhere around 10-15, I can't see us getting him.

He's a flat out monster, freak, superhuman, alien, sasquatch athlete. Someone scaled up RG3's 40 time to a 350 pound man, the result, 6.something seconds. Poe ran 4.87. Raw physical ability like that doesn't make it to the third round.

I agree...Early projections had him going in the 3rd round. After he dominated the combine some have him early 2. My comment is that there are true NT in this draft.
