Little kid freaking out about the packers beating the vikings - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RUGq8hIBuhQ)

Someone sign her.... I feel like this is how Speilman feels after games.

You totally got my hopes up about a new GM lol. I should have known it was too good to be true.

Not sure how far this thread will go but we do need a GM. A new one not just re branding someone in- house.

I wouldn't mind Matt, Atleast we would have WRs. Our best WR is a Hybrid back/slot WR.

She atleast understands losing to the Packers is a bad thing. I'm not sure the FO does.

The only available guy with any experience whatsoever is Michael Lombardi. I believe he was the front runner to land the 49ers job before they decided to promote Baalke. I'm not Lombardi's biggest fan, but he couldn't be any worse than Spielman. I think Parcells has finally given up on being a GM. Maybe we could get Bill Cowher to be a Head Coach / GM like Parcells did with the Jets. I really don't have many ideas. I've been preaching with the rest of you that we need a GM. But I can't make up my mind on a qualified candidate that would be a realistic possibility.

What are your thoughts about Dick Vermeil as a GM?

What are your thoughts about Dick Vermeil?

Always loved Vermeil. However, I think he is in the middle of this Sandusky mess right now. He is also getting up there in age. But I would be ecstatic to have him.

Big boys don't cry. Real men do! Either Lombardi or Vermeil would work in my opinion!

Vermiel is about 80 and has never run an NFL front office. No way in hell I want a guy with less experience than Spielman and twice his age running the team. Lombardi? With that last name I don't want him anywhere near the front office ether.
