Not a big fan of the bleacher report, but I can agree with these mistakes...

For starters, the Vikings have no No. 1 receiver, and never made a successful attempt to keep or get one. Sidney Rice left for Seattle after claiming the Vikings didn't try to negotiate with him

Sidney Rice in 6 games: 435 yards (16.1 avg)

Michael Jenkins in 8 games: 362 yards (12.5 avg)

Percy Harvin in 8 games: 334 yards (10.8 avg)

Of the WR's available as FA's that we could have signed, only 2 WR's have caught passes for more yards. (Vincent Jackson was franchised)

Steve Breaston in 8 games: 450 yards (15.5 avg)

Early Doucet in 8 games: 437 yards (12.9 avg)

He should have added two more with my first possibly fixing all of them:

1- Wilf not hiring a true, seasoned GM to run the operation
2- The secondary. Easily as much of a problem as any other mentioned.

With the big boys getting a hefty share of the cap money, I believe they really had to scrimp on the secondary talent & even some of the starters & it's showing.

And that is where a GM would be a benefit over the committee approach. Maybe the better approach would have been to move Greenway and Peterson for picks and lower priced Players so that they had the cash to fill the roster. I may not have the answer but I am also not sure they do.

At least some of the receiver production issues could be blamed on our stellar QB play in the first 6 games.

Are you trying to say McNabb was worse than Jackson?
