It would be a step up from McNabb at this point and a guy we could keep around with the two young guys. Obviously not a long tern starter but someone who can be there as Ponder develops.

Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com writes that (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/10/05/sage-rosenfels-is-looking-for-work/)Sage Rosenfels (http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1276/sage-rosenfels) wants back into the NFL (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/New-York-Giants-Sage-Rosenfels-free-agent-after-blood-illness-100511) after a “mysterious blood infection” plagued him in August.
The Giants released Rosenfels from injured reserve after placing him on the season-ending list before the season. Rosenfels is now a free agent and looking for work.
We’ve always thought of Rosenfels as one of the better backups in the league. He had a strong showing early this preseason and would make sense for a team like Miami that is looking for depth.

Sage is a backup to the backups and should retire.

you're on a role today. I just checked & Wade Wilson isn't working, should we grab him up to?

As awful as Mcnabb has looked this year (and last), there is no way Frazier allows this. I think him and Mcnabb have to close of a personal relationship, which could be the reason we don't see any Ponder this year.

I'm sure maimi signs him today anyway...

If he's healthy I could see the Colts taking a look at him as their current roster is all backups to backups at the position

Miami is signing him.

Henne is out for the season, so they need SOMETHING.

Our QB situation just might be better than Miami's. Definitely better than Indianapolis's

That's something we couldn't say this time last season.

Smart move by the Dolphins.

Signing Garrad might have won them a few games. Signing Rosencopter to back up Moore keeps them in the Suck For Luck Campaign.

How highly do the Dolphins think Sage is that they have him backing up a back up who went undrafted in 2007?

Not very highly at all.
