(http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/25/vikings-wont-change-quarterbacks/)But that doesn’t mean Leslie Frazier is (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/25/vikings-wont-change-quarterbacks/)considering a quarterback change (http://www.1500espn.com/sportswire/Pelissero_Too_late_to_save_Vikings_season_and_McNabb_may_be_next092511).

“I don’t think our quarterback position is our problem right now,” Frazier said via Tom Pelissero of espn1500.com. “We’re not thinking about anything at the quarterback position.”

The QB position is not the problem right now.

Closing out games where you lead going into half is the fricken problem.

So we are going to ignore the main problem? A terrible QB that can't hit a barn?

That seems to be the plan.

He can hit a barn, just can't hit a receiver.

Hitting a barn was the prerequisite before becoming a Vikings QB.

I would not call our QB problem our main problem. Is it a problem? Yes.

But a team that cannot hold onto a win has a problem with coaching as well. Not to mention the players ability to hold the lead.

Well, scoring in the second half wouldn't hurt either...I put most of that on McNabb....he has open receivers, he just cant get the ball to them.

McNabb could have led this team to a victory by playing better yesterday. His play was bad, even by his standards.

However, this game was lost once again by many aspects including the late game collapse of the defense. Jared and Robison kept their level of play up until the end, everybody else was just one step off of doing anything significant.

Whether its penalties, miscues, or just failure to make a key play it continues to hit us on all fronts whenever something sigfnicant is at stake. PF may have it right when he states that are talent level is simply not deep enough to withstand the onslaught of second half momentum when the other team starts to click.

The best players always seem to get better as the game drags on and a victory is at stake. I don't think our team has a lack of effort, I'm just not sure they are capable of stepping it up a few notches in key situations. This is where average to slightly above average talent is exposed (in our case this means our secondary, LB'ers, WR's, QB and OL). The Lions elevated their play and we couldn't stay with them.

Then again, we might just be full of choke artists who are plagued by the purple uniform.

Give it a rest. Our defense is not the biggest problem. It is coaching and QB/WR play.

What? Give my opinion a rest?

Everyone realizes McNabb isn't getting it done yet. He's not the sole problem though.

Correct.

I hate to say it, though.. He is looking almost IDENTICAL to T-Jack with his 2nd half throws, sans the jump pass.

Almost. He'll have to step it up 3 notches to almost identical.
