“Yeah, he has a foot injury and we’re going to see what the doctors have to say about that,” coach Leslie Frazier said, via comments distributed by the team. “He’s actually going to visit a foot specialist and just see where things are with him but really need him to come along. He really struggled in the snaps that he had on Saturday with that foot.”

At least he has 4 games of rest if he needs them.

I question why he is playing in the preseason if the foot is limiting him? Wouldn't it be better to let the injuries heal during the preseason?

How long are they going to take deciding on the suspensions? Everything is done in the courts, Goodel needs to make a decision already so everyone can move on.

Wouldn't surprise me if Goodell is purposely dicking us along now.

The bigger question, for me atleast, is......If he is place on IR for a few games and also recieves a suspension, does the suspension count during the IR period or after he returns from IR?

You don't go on IR for a few games. Once you're on IR, you're done for the season.

What if they put him on the 15 day disabled list?

Could do PUP but I don't think suspension will overlap with it. I think it's a stacking penalty.

That is correct under the new CBA. Under the previous rules if you were put on IRbefore the final roster,(preseason), you were out for the season. If you went on during the season, it was a minimum 4 games. The owners felt there was too much cheating by teams putting a player on IR to be able to keep them without taking a roster spot allowing teams to pick up an extra player.

Roger, I can track with that. Wasn't aware of the change.

Just to make sure I understand then......

Once he comes off the PUP/Games missed due to injury (what ever its called now), the suspension would start then?
