Can't see a few weeks with Farve doing a whole lot of good for Joe. It is not like Brett had the perfect mechanics as a pro QB. At least Joe is taking it seriously enough to put in the extra effort.

Would rather see him working with Ponder, our QB of the future.
Of course if Favre is already throwing footballs, it could mean he has one more comeback left in him. Just saying.

Only good can come from this. People like make jokes saying "What is Favre gonna teach him, ok joe on the last play of the game just heave it into triple coverage" but in reality Favre knows so much about defenses and the game as a whole, that Joe Webb can't help but benefit from it. Favre may not be the best mechanically, but he knows what a perfect throw should look like and he will help Joe with it.

Can Joe Webb learn the offensive system inside and out?

Can he learn to read defenses well?

Can he throw accurately?

If you can answer yes to those three questions, Joe Webb could become an excellent NFL quarterback.

He has intelligence, speed, atheleticism second to none, and poise under pressure.

He also has a lot to learn.

I don't discount Joe Webb in this league where quarterbacks get injured often.

Sooner or later he will play again.

We will never really be able to know if he will work out unless we give him 5 uninterrupted years starting so we can see what he has to offer.

There are a few of us trying to move on who ignore stuff about this shithead. 2 years of ruining a team is enough for me. I don't need to read anymore of it.

Not saying you can't post em though...

Just think. You will now have the opportunity to say the same thing about McChunky for the next few years. I wonder who the hell they will come up with after he is gone? Romo?

Jackson only had 1 uninterrupted year, not 5.

You act like we are getting McNabb as a future guy. We still have Ponder who we will probably end up starting at the end of this year.

Did we win a SB with him? What was our record in 2010? How much money did we spend on him in 2010 instead of resigning guys like Rice or Chad?

Call me naive, doesn't bother me. His stay in MN was nothing better than when Cunningham was here and Cunningham didn't cost us that much.

Who gives a shit. It was history and an awesome ride. DON"T SAY HE RUINED A TEAM! It is not only your team. He ruined it for you. Not the team or 99% of the fans.

By your definition, EVERY Viking player has been a waste since none of them have ever won a Superbowl.

Pull your pants up, Marr...your hate is showing.
