Wow, I haven't been here for a while. Looks like you guys are pretty bored here. Not much Packer interaction. I may be able to help that out by giving you some insight into the other camp.
Today's topic: Milwaukee Football
Pro-football is a long ways from Milwaukee. In order to house a pro-football team there, a new stadium would have to be constructed. When Miller Park was built, it was designed to be exclusively a baseball park. This was a wonderful little stipulation that the brewers wanted in order to stay in Milwaukee and good ol' Bud won't let them leave Brewtown. Plus the residents of Milwaukee County are still paying an extra "stadium" tax until 2006 I believe (I could be wrong). Anyhow, Milwaukee is left with a nice, leaky, baseball-only stadium and a crappy team to play in it. I am from the area and would love to have another team in the state, preferably an AFC team. Milwaukee may be tough because I doubt the citizens want to help fund yet another stadium, and Milwaukee is a heavy basketball city.
TRUE: The Packers did play in Milwaukee in the old County Stadium, but left because they could fit more people into Lambeau.
If there are any other Packer/Viking/NFL/Wisconsin/whatever issues in which you would like Packer fan's perspective, dish em up.
