Well now that the deal is done shipping moss to the RAIDERS and bringing in a very good middle LB in Napolean Harris, I am wondering who the starting LB will be and who would be better off as an OLB or ILB?

Napolean better start some where... I hope we didn't trade the best WR in the NFL for a bench warmer!!!

I wonder what napo's weight is at right now. I read that the raiders played him at 260, and he is better at 250 or so. Hopefully he drops that weight, cause we need his speed. It however wasn't him getting fat, it was the raiders who made him gain that weight.

Napoleon will be strong side linebacker. Ej in the middle & probably Thomas on the weak side.

Apparently hes at around 255 last reported
so only 5 more pounds if what you say is true

how did the raiders make him gain weight?

Told him to beef up because they were gonna play a 3-4 and they need bigger LB's that can battle off OLineman to get to the QB.

Napolean MUST start.

I like Dontarrious too...I just think we need a vet to help us...

Dontarrious is so raw, and EJ needs a bit more seasoning too..

Watch out for this linebacking corp though. Talent galore.

Yeah unfortunatly we let him waltz into St. Louis without even contacting him about a re-signing, i'm still trying to understand why we made that move or didnt make it. I'm still pissed but i may get over it if we get something esle great at LB.

I thought Nap, CC, and DT would make a great LB crew. I love EJ but i'm about winning now, and i dont know if he is the vocal leader we need in the middle. He'll come back next year HEALTHY so thats great to know. I hope he steps up big time.

cc is at the point where he will be collecting social security , and is asking alot for his this point in his carrer . nap will be just as good and has a much brighter future

At this point in his carear?????????

He's 26 year old veteran who has played six years, he's got alot of football left in him, he was our best LB for two years in a row and was injured some. I expect him to be healthy for st. louis, we will look stupid after he has a pro bowl year next year. I'm still pissed over not resigning him, more pissed than the moss trade, we didnt even try to resign him then we let antonio pierce walk, i swear....

You should go to the rams board and look at the exitment, those fans watched the christmas eve game when we played the packers, he was name that stuck out.

just think he's lost a step . i don't see more than 1 more very productive season out of cc . don't think he's the leader type . probably more than we got now , but 3 days into free agency. sure to find a good mike backer ,if not then in the draft . maybe tice didn't think he fits the scheme

I hate to say it but I think Napolean Harris should start at MLB and E.J. should eaither be a back up at MLB or start at ROLB.

EJ sucks. End of story. I'm tired of people telling me he's good. He blows. He has not shown ANY improvement. Give it up already.

he isnt good... but isnt bad... he did like lead our team in tackles... he did improve on his gap control.. so thats some improvment for ya! i like EJ.. he was supposed to be a first round i think with a little more work he will show us why

I thought Winfield led the team in tackling? I could be wrong, but I thought he did.

Na i think EJ did, even though he played almost all year injured and hurt for 3 or so games, EJ's an animal in the run game you could really tell toward the end of the season, him and CC really boosted that department.

I'm far from giving up on EJ, it will be nice to have him back and healthy next year. We are talking about trying to get players that can tackle, EJ's at the top of this list. He's definitly got some improving to do though.

I thought CC had 81 tackles last year, 1 more than chaovous and 7 more than B Will?

when your cb is getting as many tackles as your mlb, you know you have a bad defense.

Not really winfield led the bills a couple years ago with tackles and they have pro bowl LB's, and safeties. They had the #1 or #2 defense that year. He just has a nose for the ball, and he gets there in a hurry.

im hoping they aquire a free agent with some expierence to play the ROLB no offense to DT but he is young and has alot of learning ahead of him which might come quicker if hes in a back up role and not thrown in to e a starter..

but harris and henderson should be exciting...
