Of the several thousand NFL games played.. What’s the most memorable game that sticks out in your mind?

The game I remember most was last weeks vs the Lions, but that's mainly because of marijuana usage.

Vikings games personally attended:
2007 - Vikings vs. Chargers - AD's 296 game
2008 - Vikings vs. Giants - Longwell's FG captures NFC North crown
2009 - Vikings vs. 49ers - Favre to Lewis - Mars left early
2009 - Vikings vs. Cowboys - ass-whupping in the divisional playoffs

Vikings games from history:
The Miracle at the Met - Tommy Kramer to Ahmad Rashad to beat the Browns

NFL games:
Super Bowl XXXVIII - Patriots over Panthers - a FABULOUS game
Super Bowl XXIII - Niners over Bengals - Joe Montana leads the Niners to the last-minute win while flirting with John Candy

Just a few.

Edinger's 57 yd field goal against the Pack was a pretty good memory.

The Moss Moon, and subsequent ass kicking in the Wild card game over the Packers was good.

You can probably tell that I love when we beat the pack!

No QUESTION the Favre-Lewis SF Game was one of the most memorable games ever........

As I say in nearly every other thread as well 3 NFC Championship games of recent lore also weigh heavily on my mind.

Non Vikings games

Patroits Giants Superbowl-WOW That bubble gum from Justin Timberlake really worked.........

Patriots Eagles Superbowl-Good game too bad Donovan had that bad steak the night before that was making him puke

Cardinals Steelers Superbowl-Unbelievable...........and even more unbelievable was that Santonio Holmes made every vital play in the last drive. Or it seemed that way.

Was it Joe Buck that said it was a disgusting act by Randy Moss? What an idiot. Seriously. The only reason he did that was because Packer fans actually mooned the Vikings. God joe buck is dumb.

So many great games, so little space to write about them...

Two come to mind, very quickly, when I read the title of thread.

Our 1998 loss, in the NFC Championship game VS the Falcons. I will never forget that loss. It is truly the only time I really believed that we where going to win the Super Bowl that season. If we had won that game, no way in hell the Broncos beat us....NO WAY! Close second would be our Loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, we where big favorites, and got handed an ass wooping....I believe the loss waa because of Coach Grants coaching..Way to conservative and didn't try to open up the offense...

Second game that comes to mind, nothing speical, just a mid season game with nothing speical on the line. What makes it memorable is, it was the first Vikings game that I was able to attend in person.
Vikings VS NY Giants
1975, at the Yale Bowl, in New Haven, CT. We WON the game with ease.
Yale Bowl ? You might ask. Yes, the Yale Bowl, because that was the Giants home field for two years, while they where building the Meadowlands. Kinda funny now, because so many years later, Meadowlands is gone and I will be going to the new stadium, next Monday, to watch our Vikings take on another NY Team, the Jets.....My prediction, we win with a last second field goal by Longwell...23-20 Vikings Win.....I truly hope so, I've never been to a Vikings game in person, when they have lost!!!!!! I still don't believe that fact myself, but it's very true....

because i was at the game id say vikes vs chargers ap's rookie year. the game he broke the record at. ive never seen anyone run like that! it was like he would run the ball and nobody could stop him and our team just completely dominated the chargers.

otherwise id say that saints vs vikes game last year in the conference championship game. we should have won that! we dominated the saints. but of course as before we lose due to a field goal
