Does any player really entertain like No. 4?

I cannot believe I am saying it ... but I love Brett Favre and completely consider him a Viking at this point. Not a former Packer ... not a former rival ... simply as one of the great Viking QBs.

to be honest, and ill clearily admit it today, or even 10 years ago. ive always liked brett and always knew he was one of the best to play the game. its like if i was a packer, bear or lion fan; you have to give AP credit cuz hes a best RB in the nfl.

Excellent find and thanks for sharing

He plays with guys half his age and acts like a someone have their age.

Gotta love the energy!

"That play Percy made was ridiculous...I saw it...I threw it...I had a good seat."

The younger players really enjoy being around him, unless he's stinging their butts. Man, he is definitely having fun out there.

They played a little of this on Inside the NFL, but only short clips. This is awesome, thanks for posting.

Think the idea of putting miche's on players is the greatest things since instant replay and HD.

Whats up with all the ass slapping?
WOW.
:o

My favorite quote:

Number 4:
I just threw up a hope and a prayer.
;D

On a side note, love how he treated Matt.
Speaks volumes to his character.

Very true...I wonder if he even knows what it means to a rookie.

Also, I like how he talks to AD and TJ. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious. He even gives Chilly some sh*t, lmao.

Funny stuff.
I like how he was wise crackin' the lineman for Detroit right before AD ran in for the TD saying something like...what they got you in here for?

Does anybody have more fun playing this game then Favre?
I hate to say it, but it will be a sad day when he's gone.

Bevell and Favre clearly have a great relationship, for that reason alone, Bevell is worth keeping.
It's also clear how attached Favre is to Rice and Harvin, these are the guys he wants to see excel.
This video is a good example of how Favre makes the receivers better. Its not just throwing balls to them, its building up their confidence, talking to them about what to do in different situations and talking them up to the coaches.

I took many things away from this video not just the comedy.

Anyone that still holds anything against Favre for being here has got a bug up their bum....

1. The guy has up lifted Rice.
"I told you that you had it since day one."

2. The guy has up lifted AD, even though you wouldn't think he needs it.
He keeps giving AD compliments and takes the pressure off of him.
BF's confidence and experience puts an emphasis on his word being true and the players take that to heart.
"The only guy that can stop you is you."

3. He is a coach on the sideline.
He is talking plays with TJ, Sage and Bevell.
Besides plays, he coaches teammates up on the sideline.

4. His play, his willingness to throw the ball and let the players make plays, is more than compliments in the form of words.
"I threw that up there and let you do what you do, catch footballs."

5. Oh ya, he is comical....

a. "Ya a smart jiggly butt is someone that can sit on an ice cream cone and tell you the flavor, vanilla."

b.
To Bevell when he said being an OC is frick'n hard.... "you ought'a try playing QB sometime."

c.
To Chilly when he was taking credit for calling the TD run..... "don't get smart, don't get smart, no one likes a smarty pants."

d.
To Bevell when they are talking about the hit on pH... "I saw it, I threw it, I had a good seat."

e.
To Chilly when talking about Sid... BF="they can't cover him"
Chilly="that is what you always say"
BF="NOW you're starting to believe me!"

6. He loosens up the whole team, offense and defense, heck even the coaches.

Feel free to add more.....

I would, some of the things he says are hilarious, I even thought that then.

Probably the funniest quote I've heard, and this was him as a packer
Favre to the ref: "Do you have any left handed balls?"

Thanks for the read my friend.

El Syd tops my charts when it come to suprises this year.
A very close second is that baller called Percy.
Did you happen to see the link to a certain stat (Missed Tackles) that I posted in another thread.......

http://www.profootballfocus.com/by_position.php?tab=by_position&season=2009&pos=WR&stype=r&runpass=&teamid=-1&numsnaps=25&numgames=1

PH is number one, El Syd is 68th.
If one were to think about it for a second, one would see that they are both being targeted in a very different manner.

PH in alot of traffic and Syd deep.
When you think about thier role in the scheme, one would almost think it would be the opposite.

I agree.
I love bits where they show you the individual personalities behind the scenes or on the sidelines and how they interact with each other.
They need to do this more often.
Doesn't have to be Favre, either.
