I remember when this cat was coming out.
Knock on him was that he would project as a DT and he didn't want to be one.
He wanted to be a DE at the next level.
Looks like the staff has got him finally accepting that role.

Maybe, just maybe we do have a good coaching staff...... ::)

So far what I've seen, and read about him he's really fitting in. i believe he's going to be a great piece in our puzzle and should be given the chance to learn from PhatPat on how to eat RB's like chicken sandwaches..

I remember when you mocked me for saying we have good depth at DT and you wanting to draft one in the 1st round.

Don't confuse the rolling eyes comments with facts to back up the hypocrisy.

Another Brick in the Wall?

Nice quote!
;D

Kennedy said his goal now is simple. He wants to be regarded as part of the Williams Wall, the nickname given to Pat Williams and Kevin Williams, the Vikings' two Pro Bowl defensive tackles.

"I'll be a Williams. Ochocinco changed his name," Kennedy said, referring to the Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco, who was formerly Chad Johnson.

LOL, don't twist my words.

What I said (at that point of the process) was I didn't like anybody were we picked and thought DT was the best value (Peria I think).
Eventually I plugged PH in at that pick and went with a DT in the 2nd.

You wanted a C or CB or something of that nature if memory serves.

I had no use for Kennedy when he first came. It seemed like they would just push him around at will.

What I didn't realize is that he is still learning the position.

So he lost some weight and got in shape this year. And he's a totally different player.
I'm very pleased with his improved play.

I was worried about his attitude.
Again, he has revolted against playing DT his whole (albeit short) career.
Not sure who should get the props, Chiller, Frazier, DL coaching staff, or Jimmy for finally getting his head right.

My guess, probably credit should go to all of the staff and Jimmy.

I though he was funny as hell in "Beverly Hills Most Wanted"
